Mr. Waddell has represented individuals, insurance companies and corporations over his 25 year career in law.  He has developed a reputation for maximizing the recoveries received by his clients by combining his experience with intelligent and effective litigation strategies.  Mr. Waddell handles a wide variety of cases, but focuses primarily on representing individuals suffering from personal injuries and wrongful employment practices.

Mr. Waddell is a compassionate attorney who is dedicated to personally handling the affairs of each of his clients.  He meets with each client face-to-face and makes a point of communicating regularly to keep clients informed of the status and strategy of each case.

Prior to joining Yuhl Carr LLP as a partner, Mr. Waddell operated a solo personal injury law practice for five years that produced excellent results for his clients, as evidenced by recovering more than $4 Million during those five years for his clients in settlements and verdicts.

Before opening his solo practice, Mr. Waddell served as a Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for the Universal Music Group, the largest record company in the world.  In that role, Mr. Waddell was responsible for the deal making required to exploit and monetize the deep and rich catalog of music owned by Universal. For example, Mr. Waddell negotiated deals involving some of the most famous recording artists in the world, from Jimi Hendrix to Bob Marley; from Nirvana to REM, and many more.  Before Universal, Mr. Waddell began his legal career as a litigator for Long & Levit, LLP; a 70 attorney firm based in San Francisco. While at Long & Levit, Mr. Waddell specialized in complex civil litigation representing corporations as both plaintiffs and defendants.  

Mr. Waddell has litigated cases in the California Superior Courts and the Eastern, Northern and Central Federal Districts Courts.  Mr. Waddell graduated with a degree in Chemistry from the California State University at Long Beach and earned his law degree from the University of the Pacific; McGeorge School of Law, where Mr. Waddell earned the award for best trial advocate.

Mr. Waddell is a licensed member of the California State Bar, and is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, an organization dedicated to excellence for personal injury attorneys practicing in California.

Mr. Waddell has been married to his wife Abby for 26 years, and is the proud father of two adult children, Davis and Keith.
